We are a Christian discipleship community on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Our focus is the faithful teaching of God’s word and intentional relationship based on God’s purpose of reaching the lost and growing believers to maturity in Jesus Christ.
Our mission is the one Jesus gave us:
To be His witnesses, to proclaim the gospel, and to make disciples (here and everywhere).
“You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
“As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” (John 20:21)
“Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to all creation.” (Mark 16:15)
“This is what is written: The Christ would suffer and rise from the dead the third day, and repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name.” (Luke 24:46-47)
“Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
A recording of the most recent gathering is posted here on Sunday evenings.
To join into God’s work as a community of believers who are:
- Witnesses to the true and lasting life which is only found in Jesus Christ
- Following Jesus and growing to be more like Him each day
- Contributing to each other’s discipleship
- Serving our communities by meeting real needs
In support of this, the church guides and nurtures its people through biblical teaching, relational discipleship, and intentional service in order to promote spiritual growth, a vision for God’s desire that all people come into a life-giving relationship with Him, and to become a meaningful witness to Christian life within our community.
