Points:
1) It is wrong to assign value to people based on whether they benefit you or not.
2) God has special concern for the poor and other vulnerable people.
3) Favoritism is sin.
4) People who do not show mercy will not receive mercy at the judgement.
Questions to consider:
– Do I favor the rich? Am I striving to be like that?
– Do I discriminate against anyone? At church? Work?
– Are there people groups that I hate?
– Do I go to others?
