Here’s what you can expect when you visit us in person:
When we worship, we…
SING
We have been designed to worship God through all that we do. Singing is one way we enter into worship together.
PRAY
People were made to have a personal relationship with God. Prayer is an act of submission to God and expresses our dependence on Him.
HEAR
God gave us His word so we can know the truth. Hearing God’s word and applying it to our lives changes us to think and act more like Jesus.
GIVE
God is the creator, owner, and provider of all things. Giving back to God from what He’s given us acknowledges this.
TAKE
Christ died for us so that we can live with Him. We take communion to remember His death and resurrection, as we look forward to His return. (Communion is observed the first Sunday of each month)
When we MEET, we Eat.
Families eat together.
When we designed our new space in 2021, we intentionally planned a large dining area. Some of our kids affectionately refer to us as “food church.”
Christ invites us to His table.
Jesus says, “I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” – Revelation 3:20
Eating together is also practical.
The physical need for food is met ahead of our spiritual need for God’s word. So no one is worrying about their rumbling tummy during the sermon!
We’ll always have a place at the table for you, but if you don’t want to eat with us on your first visit, we won’t take offense. Just don’t be surprised to see some people lingering in the dining room or cleaning up dishes when you arrive. Come on in and make yourself at home.
When we meet, we include kids.
If you’re a family with young kids, bring ’em on!
Some people say one sign of a healthy church is noisy babies. We love noisy babies! And wrestless kids. We have both.
A “bawl room” is provided for infants and toddlers if you would like to use it, but we are ok if you want to keep your little ones in worship with you.
Having children in church is not just good for them, it’s good for everyone! Research proves it.
Little ones are inherently valuable to Jesus, and they should be to us as well. Many of our more mature church members have been blessed and strongly encouraged by their presence and participation in our worship gatherings.
We know young kids don’t always cooperate.
We don’t mind active kids, but we do understand it might make some parents uncomfortable when they’re too active or upset. We have a kids’ corner in our sanctuary with quiet toys, and in our “bawl room,” you can still see and hear the message for anyone needing to comfort their little one or let them play.
Thanks for checking us out online!
